Kronos Continues to Outpace Workforce Management Market; Only Leading Vendor to See Market Share Gains

CHELMSFORD, Mass., June 17, 2014 – Kronos Incorporated today announced that according to the latest global study of workforce management solutions published by IHS Technology (NYSE: IHS), Kronos retains its leadership position in the global workforce management market. According to IHS data, during the period from 2011 to 2013, the worldwide workforce management market grew 7.9 percent, and, according to the latest study, during the same period, Kronos outpaced the market, growing at 11.2 percent. Only Kronos was found to have positive market share growth in all regions during such period, while the share of other leading suppliers of workforce management solutions declined.
- In 2013, Kronos led all vendors with a 25.6 percent share of the global workforce management market.
- Also in 2013, in the Americas, Kronos broadened its number-one position by increasing its share to 37.7 percent. It also maintained its leadership positions in Canada, Oceania, and the United Kingdom and Ireland, while growing share in Europe, Middle East, Africa, Latin America, and Asia.
- Kronos growth in Asia was particularly strong, growing 30 percent since 2011 to 14.4 percent.
